Elin Isaksson is a Glass Artist-Designer-Maker with 20 years of glass blowing Elin Isaksson is originally from Sweden where she initially was taught her craft at the Orrefors glass school. After graduating from her MA in Applied Arts at Edinburgh College of Art, she set up her own glass blowing business in 2010. Elin Isaksson graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2006 with an MA in Design an Applied Arts and previously trained at Orrefors Glass School in Sweden. Inspired by nature she aims to capture a sense of place, a small detail or an atmosphere rather than reproduce a direct likeness of an object or form.
